A famous French archaeologist has been kidnapped and Spyforce's Chief Harrison summon Max, Linden and Toby to help. To Max's horror, the team aren't asked to find out who did it but are sent to Paris to make sure nothing happens to the archaeologist's spoilt, feisty and stubborn daughter, Veronique. After some clever code breaking, our 3 superspies discover the kidnapping is part of a larger plan to destroy the beautiful city.

From Deb - Welcome to France! I've been lucky enough to go to Paris a few times and I've always wanted to send Max and Linden there. I've seen the Eiffel Tower from many angles but never from the top...Max and I share a fear of heights. And as with all Max Remy books, Max comes face to face with animals who give her a hard time. She has to mind the spoilt and feisty Veronique who loves to ride horses, which gave me the perfect opportunity to get Max on a horse. I think you can guess what might happen next.
